At the time of Sheikh Zayed’s birth, the

Emirate (present Abu Dhabi) was very poor

and undeveloped.

Travelling throughout his country at a later

stage in life, he created a deep

understanding about his land and its people.

During his tenure, the economy, health

system, education, and social welfare sectors

had improved drastically.

He further used the oil revenues to build a

stronger economy, which lead the UAE rank

economically amongst the region’s most

developed country.

It was due to the hard work and efforts of

Sheikh Zayed that the UAE is currently the

most developed Arabian country in the

world.
