These two experiments

demonstrate the basic and

inherent principles of the

Mobius strip.

The Mobius strip has a surface

containing only one edge

where the directrix is reversed

along a uniform path.

This is called a non-orientable

surface and is demonstrated by

running one’s finger along the

edge of the strip.
