Alexander first needed to take care

of internal affairs. He was very

intent on killing or exiling everyone

that could potentially be a threat to

his claim on the throne. He executed

or exiled many of his half brothers

and cemented his power on the

throne. After this had happened,

he was now ready to expand the

borders of the Kingdom.

The first of the long line of

conquests was the reconquest of

the Greek city states. Many states
