In other words, the IPCC is not engaged
in primary research, but rather compiles
relevant and accurate information from
secondary sources into comprehensive
reports.
In order to maintain scientific integrity,
only peer-reviewed and published
documents are considered as sources of
information.
IPCC reports are the collaborative efforts
of several expert authors from academia,
research centers, business, and
associations. These experts are
nominated by governments and
international organizations based on
their qualifications.
