Ultimately, when no one succeeded
for a very long time, people forgot
about the sword, and England went
on without a leader, falling into even
more desolation.
Arthur was growing up during this
time and Merlin acquainted himself
with him.
The two would meet regularly once
Arthur had completed the chores he
performed for Sir Ector.
Eventually, Merlin and Arthur became
good friends. Merlin became Arthur’s
teacher and he taught Arthur to
always value knowledge over power.
