The sparrow burst out laughing as he
pointed to Nick.
Nick turned to see the chicken,
mallard duck, pheasant, swan, chick,
and other large birds looking at him.
"Look! It’s the owner’s son who
always mistreated and bullied us!
Let’s teach him a lesson."
The chicken led a charge towards the
boy.
Nick quickly slipped through a space
in the fence and escaped to the
forest nearby.
