Nick asked the
swan when he got
to the lake.
"Mm, of course I
do. But I want you
do something first.
The rats in the
village are bothering the people. I
want you to take this flute and bring
them out of the village to the lake.“
Nick had no choice but to do as the
swan asked. Nick began to play a
sweet melody on the flute.
The rats in the village heard the music
and began to follow Nick.
