Ancient Interpretations of Plato’s
dialogues
There are divided views concerning
the existence of Atlantis. Some say
that it is fictional or a metaphorical
myth, while others claim that it
actually exists. Even Plato’s disciple,
Aristotle believed that Plato had
invented the island in order to teach
philosophy to the disciples. However
another student of Plato named
Xenocrates cited that he believed the
