Double sheet bend
This is a considerably more secure version of the
sheet bend, though it doesn’t take much longer to
tie. The double sheet bend is best used where there
is a constant load, and not too much snatching.
1 Put a bight in the end of one line. Pass the end of the other line through
the bight and around the legs.
2 Tuck working the end under itself, and pass it around the legs again.
