Mystic knot
This knot is said to be one of the eight treasures
of Buddhism, symbolising the belief that there is no
beginning and no end, but only a constant round of
birth and rebirth. You’ll certainly find yourself going
round and round as you tie what is a far more
durable decorative knot than the fragile good luck
knot. Just make sure you stop before reaching
infinity...
1 Centre the line and form a pair of bights as shown. Use tacks or pins to
hold the line in place, if desired.
