Tie 4: Van Wijk
This knot was invented by artist Lisa Van Wijk
who apparently wanted to design the longest tie
knot possible – though it has nothing on the
hourglass in terms of length. It’s closely based on
the Prince Albert tie knot, with an extra turn for luck.
1 Loop the tie around your neck, with one end (the wide end, on a regular
tie) much longer than the other. Take a turn with the long end around the
short end.
