Double blackwall hitch
The blackwall hitch isn’t the most reliable of
knots, so the double blackwall was created to make
it more secure. There are two ways of tying a double
blackwall: with the extra turn in the hook itself (as
shown), or with the extra turn in its shank.
1 Take a turn around the hook, as for the single blackwall hitch.
