               Slip & nip loop




               There’s  a  certain  deliberate  logic  to  this  knot,


               which is fascinating to knot-tyers: the two turns act
               like a pair of jaws, which ‘bite’ the end more tightly


               the more weight is applied to the loop. And the knot
               can be broken by pulling the two loops apart. For the

               rest of us, it’s just a jolly useful, all-round noose.




























                                 1  Put an underhand loop in the end of the line.
