2   Seize the line and tease the strands apart. Group the strands together


                 into two left- and two right-twisting pairs. Place a pair of each on either

                                                    side of the chain.

































                3   Take one pair of strands and pass them through the first link, from left


                    to right. Take the matching pair from the other side, and pass them

                                     through the same link from right to left.
