Sewing knot 9: Cheater’s Russian

If you can’t face the tricky weave of the Russian

join, this method is a quick ‘n’ dirty way of achieving
the same thing. It’s a bit more hit and miss, but with

some practise you can achieve good results.

1 Thread one of the ends onto your needle. Starting at least a needle’s

length from the end, slide the needle through the middle of the second

thread.
