She has utilized her expertise to support high-profile initiatives and projects that have aided in the remediation of risk, generated revenue opportunities and created automation enhancements. Kathy’s excellent risk management and adherence to controls helped lead to the successful completion of four separate audits for Cash Management.
Kathy is an outstanding contributor who has established herself as a strong leader.
Anik Walia

Anik is a genuine leader who inspires his colleagues to do their best each and every day. A champion of the Better Business Banker strategy, he leads with a focus on the customer and a disciplined approach to market management. Under his leadership, his team delivered exceptional results in 2020 while also providing tremendous support to clients through the pandemic.
Phil Wang
Senior Technology Delivery Lead, Technology Solutions | Toronto, ON
Phil has led the technology teams responsible for building and enhancing a new loan system to deliver CEBA (Canada Emergency Business Account) loans to our customers. With requirements changing daily, lightning fast software changes, and frequent overnight deployments, the team kept moving at an incredible speed. Throughout this journey, Phil has been a trusted partner for our business teams and TD executives, a strong and steady leader of the technology delivery teams, and a servant-leader to his team executing the change.
Patrick Ward

Pat had an incredible year for the National Sales Team at TDMS – signing a five-year contract with a drugstore giant. This deal will bring four new banners and see $3.5B in new Card Volume. This win was done with Pat quarterbacking the OneTD methodology and will not only bring scale from a Volume perspective with VISA and Mastercard – but will provide great bottom line revenue to TDMS.
Jack Watson

Jack has made significant contributions to our team since joining the CBC in 2018. He quickly established relationships with key clients, partners and COIs which drove new business opportunities and strong scorecard results for him in F’20. Jack engages his entire team to deliver for our customers and has built a strong reputation in the community. He is the consummate professional and an excellent role model for others on the team.
Rhonda Weppler
Vice President, Operations, Divisional Office | Toronto, ON
Rhonda has a broad mandate leading the Business Banking’s Operations and Operational Control teams. Many of these areas supported employees through the pandemic, working with Control partners on all government programs, leading our teams to a full Work From Home (WFH) and more recently, Return to Office (RTO). Changing how and where we work has evolved dramatically and Rhonda kept us whole and safe throughout. Her efforts guided us through the pandemic with Business Continuity Management, WFH/ RTO policies. It is no surprise that this is Rhonda’s fourth Annual Summit Award.
