Summer Growth Experiences
as our twelfth club school.
FELC Camp: Take Stock in Children partnered with the Jesse Helms Center to secure thirteen scholars the opportunity to participate in The Free Enterprise Leadership Challenge (FELC). FELC is a five-day, sleepover summer program accessible to incoming tenth, eleventh, and twelfth graders hosted at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Immersed in a college world, students received an opportunity to earn real money, run a business, and learn the power of a free enterprise system.

Summer Paid Internship: The School District of Palm Beach County’s Human Resources Department has
a summer paid internship offered for rising seniors and graduating seniors. Students work in District
schools and offices and are able to earn up to $2500 by working 7 weeks during the summer. The
