MVPA 1: Spelling it Out In this three part series, participants will learn why moderate to vigorous
physical activity (MVPA) is important to student health, learn research-based
MVPA II: Making It Happen strategies to increase MVPA, and learn to modify existing activities to
MVPA III: Disguising increase MVPA.
Quality PE for All Developing a quality physical education program is a process based upon
utilization of best practices and implementing the components of quality
physical education. Participants will gain an understanding of the strategies,
activities and approaches that are required to develop a quality physical
education program.
Before, During and After Need ideas to successfully infuse physical activity into the educational
School Physical Activity experience.? Participants will leave this session with the tools, resources and
strategies that are sure to get students moving and learning more!
