DeMario Pressley is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina. DeMario graduated from the historical
James B. Dudley High School. During his high school athletic career DeMario earned many pres-
tigious awards as a high school athlete and by the end of his senior year he was ranked the #11
player in the USA. He was also Frist-Team on the USA Today All-American Team, earning a ranking of
#1 at his position, #1 player in the state, NC Gatorade Player of the Year and Riddell Player of the
Year. DeMario is still considered the highest ranked and recruited player in Dudley Panther’s history.
Continuing in his Carolina roots, DeMario chose to attend college at North Carolina State University.
He worked very hard on and off the field and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Sport
Management after only 3 years - one of his proudest accomplishments.
DeMario was selected in the 2008 NFL draft by the New Orleans Saints and it was there he became
a Super Bowl Champion-the highlight of his career. He has played with many great teams such as
the Houston Texans, Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, and retired in 2013 after his tenure with the
Outside of the locker room, DeMario has been very passionate about helping children and those in
underserved communities. It is his love for giving back that prompted him to start his foundation,
PRESS It Forward, after his 2nd year in the NFL. The PRESS It Forward Foundation strives to afford
single parents and children in challenging, unique situations the opportunity to thrive by extending the
right support and resources required to help them achieve success. He also helped start the football
program for a youth sports organization in his hometown called the Greensboro Eagles. He served on
the Eagles Board of Directors as the Sports Development Director for 5 years.
DeMario has served on the Board of Directors for the Shadow Warrior Foundation (SWF) since its
conception in 2015 as the Director of Marketing & Public Affairs. SWF is a foundation that provides
awareness of the many military veterans that are currently homeless and increases public knowledge
of PTSD. DeMario also volunteers his free time mentoring young athletes by providing time, support,
and expressing genuine interests in each of his mentees. His goal is to advise and help them while
they reach their individual goals in school, in their respective sports and throughout life.
DeMario was recently selected by his peers and other business professionals to serve as Chairman
of the 2017 Friends of Scouting Campaign for the Atlanta Area Council Boy Scouts of America. In the
same year, the scouting council elected DeMario to become a member of the Peach of an Athlete
Committee and has served the last 3 years.
Currently DeMario is Founder & President of Agriculture Logistics of Georgia (ALG). ALG is an innova-
tive, forward-thinking food logistics company designed to support the food industry in Georgia and
nationwide. ALG focuses on bridging the gap between farm fresh products and end-users.
DeMario & his wife are also the founders of Geaux Bikes, LLC- the first bikeshare company in Forsyth
County, Georgia where he resides with his beautiful wife Kristle, and daughter, Delainie.
