Meteorology

                3.1 Introduction (Meteorologi 1 - 3 videoer)

In meteorology, we will learn how to assess the impact of weather when

                planning a flight.

You won't become a meteorologist in 25 hours or less, but you will gain a variety
of knowledge about weather and meteorology. However, it is only when you

begin flight training that you truly start learning meteorology — by doing.

Here, you will be provided with tools and templates that you can use in real-life

flying situations, but it takes years to become proficient in the field.

And even if you’re skilled, you will still need to rely on information from

                meteorological services.

A good pilot might be uncertain about the weather, but if in doubt — do not fly
                the route.

In this course, you will be introduced to how pilots find and interpret the
                weather information they need.

Many of the weather reports we pilots use are obtained from Northavimet. You

should contact the school to get a login for https://www.northavimet.com.

After obtaining your certificate, you can contact Northavimet directly to get

                your personal login.
