Principles of flight

               5.4.1.6 Stall in different situations

If the altitude is safe and the wings are level, the risk of entering a stall situation

               is minimal.

But since an aircraft can stall at any speed and in any flight attitude, if you
unintentionally enter a stall situation, it can become dangerous.

                  - During climb

The risk is high since both altitude and speed are low. This is also where we
may have highly variable wind conditions – low-level wind shear.

Lower the nose and climb with a higher speed than usual.

                  - During level flight

The risk of a stall is low here, but the slower you fly, the greater the risk of

                     a stall.

                  - During a turn

The risk is high, especially during the turn from Base to Final during

approach to landing. Many stall and spin accidents have occurred here!

Maintain low speed and low altitude and ensure that the bank angle

doesn't become too steep, putting you in the danger zone!

               5.4.1.7 Recovery from a stall

Most aircraft will automatically lower the nose when the wing stalls, reducing

the angle of attack and recovering from the stall.

The aircraft's manual will describe how to recover from a stall. You should follow

it, but here are the generally applicable procedures:

If automatic recovery does not occur, the procedure is:

                 - Lower the nose

                 - Apply full throttle

                 - Climb with VX
