Operational procedures
Use the correct gliding speed and remember that in a headwind, you should
glide at a slightly higher speed, while in a tailwind, you should use a slightly
lower speed.
If the aircraft has retractable landing gear, it may be advantageous not to
extend it, especially if the area is soft, as there is a risk that the nosewheel will
sink, resulting in the aircraft tipping forward during rollout.
After landing
Once the emergency landing has been completed — and you are sure that the
aircraft's engine and systems are shut down — the aircraft should be evacuated.
Remember to secure the aircraft's documents.

Maybe this is not the
best situation to be
in!
But still, no injuries or
damage to the
aircraft.
However, the pilot's confidence has taken a hit, and it serves as a reminder to
be more careful next time!
