8.12.3.6 Clock
A clock that shows the time in hours, minutes and seconds
is a requirement. The same is true for the air speed
indicator, altimeter and compass.
8.12.3.7 Stall Warning
The stall indicator consists of a small plate that is placed on one of the leading
edges of the wings.
When the aircraft approaches the critical
angle for stall, a pawl is activated, a switch
that provides voltage to an alarm in the
cabin in the form of a flashing lamp, a
howling sound or both.
Lower the nose of the aircraft, and the stall warning will be off again

8.12.4 The pitot-static system
Through a pitot tube, the airspeed indicator is supplied with total air pressure,
which consists of dynamic air pressure + static pressure.
The tube is most often mounted
under the wing. It should actually be
placed in front of the nose of the
aircraft, but for practical reasons…
