Communication
If you are going to take off from an aerodrome in a control zone, you must speak
to TWR.
At larger aerodromes there may be a GROUND service. Ground will initially give
you taxi clearance and the first part of the taxi until you reach a point where
TWR takes over and controls your taxi out to the warm-up area or stop line,
where you prepare for departure.
TWR gives you take-off clearance and departure clearance.
4.5.2 TMA - APPROACH
If you are going to enter a TMA (Terminal Area), you must call APPROACH, e.g.
Karup APPROACH.
Same procedure as when crossing a control zone.
4.5.3 FIZ - Information
If you are going to enter a FIZ (Flight Information Zone), you must call AFIS
(Aerodrome Flight Information Service) e.g. Stauning Information.
You do not need clearance, but you must state your intentions (what you intend
to do).
It is not permitted to fly through a FIZ without radio contact.
