     Navigation
To calculate WCA and GS for our flight, you must (on CRP1W):
                 1. Set TT 254° up under the index
                    by turning the course dial
                 2. Turn the L-wind arm in the
                    direction the wind is coming
                    from: 190°
                 3. The 2 is wind speed 20 kt
                 4. Slide the slider so that the 2
intersects the TAS LINE by 100
                    KT
                 5. Read: WCA ÷ 10 degrees GS 89 Knots (Kt)
The attentive reader will notice that we also have the wind triangle here. Try
solving the other two legs of our flight using the computer.
                On CRP1 you do this:
                 1) Set 254 under Index
                 2) Set TAS 100 (push the slider until
                    the grommet is above 100)
                 3) Mark wind speed 20 KT on the
center line (i.e. at 120 since the
                    wind is from the left)
                 4) Turn the dial so that wind speed 190 is below Index
                 5) Push the slider so the dot with wind
speed 20 intersects the TAS line 100
                                    o
                 6) Read WCA -10 (minus since it comes
                    from the left)
Read GS in the grommet to 90 KT
