best teacher award by the residents for outstanding teaching

DR. HIDEKI MOCHIZUKI

Research assistant professor and director of the brain imaging unit of the Miami Itch center.

Recipient of the University’s SAC ITS Pilot FY’19 award

Studies cerebral mechanism of itch perception and pathophysiology of chronic itch using
brain imaging techniques such as MRI.

Serves on the editorial/review Board of 4 academic journals (Frontier journal, Open Journal
of Anesthesiology, Journal of Clinical and Investigative Dermatology, and ITCH).
