                                    Clinician Scientist who recently joined the faculty in 2019

                                    Recently received supplemental funding as an emerging physician scientist from the
                                    NIH NIDDK to study non-invasive systemic biomarkers to predict healing of diabetic
                                    foot ulcers.

                                    Published 2 research papers, including a publication in Wound Repair and
                                    Regeneration, on novel mechanisms of a bioengineered cell construct in stimulating
                                    remodeling of venous leg ulcers.
                                    DR. JENNIFER TANG


                                    Mohs surgeon who sees patients at the Medical Campus, Coral Gables and in South
                                    Miami.

                                    Part of NIH funded grant evaluating gene repair defects in common skin cancers with
                                    clinical and research interests are in high risk squamous cell carcinoma and Mohs for
                                    Melanoma in situ

                                    Leads clinical trial for topical treatment of BCC in basal cell nevus syndrome.
