Directs Department’s new Dermatology Academic Training Program (DATP)

Elucidated key cytotoxic mechanism through which the breast cancer chemotherapy
agent, causes hair loss developing novel strategies to prevent chemotherapy-induced
hair loss.

Found a new inhibitory principle for unwanted human hair growth, now investigating
further the hair growth-regulatory functions of macrophages around the hair follicles
