TESTING & V ALIDA TION
The prototypes were tested with a potential candidate for an
ambassador for AYUR, her being an active participant in her
residential community and an experienced patron of Ayurveda.
Through this session, the following key comments were given for
further steps:
The ambassadors would have a good idea of their local
context and healthcare needs specific to the people there.
Hence, the training material should provide them with more
options based on their context. They could also be given the
option of specialising in certain areas of primary healthcare
through the session, besides the basic training offered.
Specialised kits would be a great way of reaching out to
people as they could address very specific healthcare needs
unlike a generalised Dinacharya kit. These would also be a
great source of income for the service, and a means of
reaching out to a larger group of people through more
personalised services.
Having the resources to suggest reputed Ayurvedic
practitioners and pharmacists as recommended by AYUR
would be a great way for building reputation for oneself in
the locality.
In essence, there is a definite potential for the service and the
product range to expand and reach out to varied user groups
through more personalised kits and training material.
