THE SERVICE
A YUR L OCAL AMBASSADORS
The service reaches out to patients with prior experiences in treatment through ISM to join the
service as a paid partner. These partners serve as ambassadors for the service in their local com-
munities by spreading the word about ISM and its benefits. They are given training by the service in
Ayurvedic wellness, and are provided with a basic dinacharya kit for this. Based on experiential
learning methods, this session gives them a brief experience of an Ayurvedic lifestyle as part of the
course. This is then followed by a group reflection sessions and a brief crash course that will enable
them with the right tools and methodologies to become the wellness expert in their locality. A
digital learning platform keeps them in close contact with the collaborating doctors and provides
them with a space to log their progress and keep track of the latest knowledge in Ayurveda. Once
they are trained, these ambassadors serve as the point of contact in their locality for the service.
As members of the locality, their ability to build trust through peer-to-peer interaction will be far
superior to those provided by any form of advertisements or marketing for ISM. Further, they will
be able to keep a look out for potential patients, and inform the service if there arises a growing
need for the service in the locality. If there is such a potential, the ambassador, with the collabora-
tion of the local community can set up a health event in their region.
