A YUR HEAL TH TRUCK
A health-on-wheels service provides easy access to Ayurvedic medicine within the patient’s locality.
A medical practitioner from the collaborating institute provides income based-paid treatment to
the users. By differentiating the cost of treatment based on the income of the patient, a sustain-
able and low cost service can be provided to the users. Those who aren’t able to afford the com-
plete expenses receive lower-cost treatment, while those who can would make up for these costs.
Also serving as a means of introducing new users to the benefits of ISM and integrative medicine,
this service functions as the “face of ISM” in the locality, and visits it regularly. The mobile health
truck is designed in a modular way to provide the most essential facilities needed for diagnosis and
treatment personalised to the needs of the locality. The truck could also includes a mini-pharmacy
with essential ISM medicines. These modular facilities within the truck may be customised to fit the
needs of the service, be it an Ayurvedic treatment service, or a Yoga session. The branding used on
the truck and for all the communication material will be designed to be linguistically and culturally
inclusive, and will serve to create a sense of trust in the brand and in ISM.
