In this section the user must enter the personal and address information of the applicant. The page for
Section A is provided in figure 4.1.2 below.

✓ Not all fields are mandatory, but the page won’t be submitted if some of the required information is
missing or is entered incorrectly.
✓ If the required field is incorrect, the system shows the error message as displayed in Figure 4.1.3 and
Figure 4.1.4.
✓ The system does automated checks on this page for:
o Account number- must be a certain number of digits, either numeric or Alpha-Numeric.
o ID Number - checked for a valid South African ID Number using common mathematical
algorithms.
