Tumor necrosis factor-β (TNF-β) Produced by activated T and B
VetBooks.ir cells and has similar properties to TNF-α. It is either secreted in a
soluble form or forms a heterodimer with lymphotoxin-β in the T
cell membrane. TNF-β kills tumor cells and activates neutrophils,
macrophages, endothelial cells, and B cells (Chapter 18).
