Proposed Day-by-Day Itinerary:
Day 1 – Monday, June 11: Getting Settled In. We’ve included first-class tickets on the TGV
2 hr 40 min from Paris to Avignon. Upon arrival at the Avignon TGV railway station, meet one
of our drivers for the 40-min private transfer to your accommodations in the stone village of
Crillon le Brave. Enjoy the afternoon getting settled into your Provencal hideaway. Consider a
walk in the countryside in the late afternoon. Paths lead directly from the village in the shadow
of Mont Ventoux.
Proposed Accommodations for 3 nights: Crillon le Brave, a delightful village (and unique
luxury hotel of the same name) in a wonderful, middle-of-nowhere setting in close proximity to
Mont Ventoux, one of the iconic natural landmarks of Provence made famous by Cezanne.
Everything about Crillon le Brave is quintessential Provence – the village setting is serene, rustic
and incredibly beautiful.
