Proposed Accommodations: Rocpool Reserve Hotel

Day 6: A Scenic Drive to Argyll, Your Next Base. Today Sylvia will drive you approximately
3 hrs to lovely Argyll through the most spectacular
scenery in the Highlands. To allow you the best
opportunity to spot Nessie en route, we have
included a 90-min adventure cruise on Loch Ness at
speeds of up to 35 mph via a Rigid Inflatable Boat
(RIB). You’ll pass by the ruins of Urquhart Castle
               and Cory’s Cave—hiding place of Scotland’s
original outlaw. This is a small group experience and
               a definite thrill.

Time and weather permitting, consider a stop at the Nevis Range Gondola System (cost not
included), the only of its kind in Britain and originally constructed as a way to transport skiers to
the slopes. Taking about 15 min, the ride
allows time to soak in the scenery of the
surrounding lochs and glens. On a clear day,
the view can extend as far as the Inner
Hebrides and the beautiful Cairngorms. Enjoy
a walk to one of the mountain viewpoints or
stroll through the Mountain Discovery Center
before heading back down. Of course, this
                                                                experience is weather-dependent.

An alternative to the Nevis Range Gondola is to proceed to Glencoe, famous for its history and
topography. Glencoe is the most historic and arguably the most beautiful glen in all of Scotland.
There are a variety of audiovisual and historic displays at the small Visitors Center and you can
take a short walk to the setting of the infamous massacre of members of the Clan MacDonald in
               1692.

Proposed Accommodations for 2 nights: Isle of Eriska, a charming country-house hotel and
estate located on a private island all of which is part of the estate. The elegant property overlooks
Loch Linnhe and features a wonderful spa and a wide range of activities
