MISSION STATEMENT

To strengthen the children and families through innovative education, supportive programming
and community engagement.

PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT

Jack and Jill Children’s Center was founded to meet the physical, social-emotional and cognitive
needs of young children and their family. The classroom environment encourages positive
interactions and relationships with adults which provide a critical foundation for successful
learning. At Jack and Jill Children’s Center children are encourage to construct their own
knowledge of the world around them by having hands-on experiences with diverse people,
materials, ideas and events. Emphasis is on helping the child gain a positive self-concept and
gain self-discipline. Children become decision makers and problem solvers. Family
strengthening programs support the entire family by providing the tools they need to break the
cycle of poverty and be successful in life.

CULTURE STATEMENT

Results driven and engaged organization that makes a difference in the community driving a
sustainable cost-effective operation.
