2019 Financials at a Glance
The Madelaine Halmos Academy at Jack & Jill expanded this past year with
the addition of third grade and an additional kindergarten class. The
elementary school continued to operate at a rental location. Jack & Jill
Children’s Center invested in direct program expenses which increased by
almost $480,000 for additional staff and resources for the elementary school.
Fundraising expenses were $127K higher as the capital campaign kicked into
high gear. Total income increased by $1.2 million largely due to corporate
and private donations for the capital campaign. Our balance sheet reflects
total assets of over $8.0 million. The increase of $1.2 million reflects pledges
and cash restricted for the Capital Campaign.
