         HOW SCHOOL ENVIRNMENTS SHAPE LEARNERS

         OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN.


         School resources, structures and culture in Musi high are not discrete school characteristics; they

         interact for example, although the development of an effective school context cannot be attributed to
         the level of resources provided to it, neither can it be accurately separated from it. the presence or

         absence of resources they can make cultural norms, as they reinforce elements of the school culture.


         The school starts from grade 8 to grade 12. They have about 30 staff members as the school is big
         and has a lot of learners. The school is of 100% black population. The school infrastructure is still in a

         good condition, they have smartboards in each classroom and computer labs to assist teachers and
         learners  for  effective  learning.  The  school  is  embedded  with  extrinsic  barriers  such  as  teenage

         pregnancy and drugs (dagga)
