Investiture Ceremony
If your actions inspire others to dream more,
learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.
The Investiture Ceremony of Delhi Public School Bangalore North was held on 17 June
2016 .The programme commenced with a classical dance performance to invoke the
blessings of the Almighty followed by the lighting of the lamp. The invocation brought in an
ambience of spirituality and serenity.
In her address the school Principal Mrs. Manju Balasubramanyam extended a warm
welcome to the Chief guests, parents and grandparents. She congratulated the newly
appointed leaders and encouraged them to be the paragon. She motivated them to set a
rhythm that would take them to soaring heights. Her words, “If you are optimistic, sound
becomes music, smile becomes meditation and life becomes a celebration” was indeed
thought provoking and inspiring. She shared the excellent academic result of Class X & XII
and commented on the laurels the students have brought to their Alma mater. The
meritorious students of Class XII were also felicitated with certificates for their outstanding
performance in the Board Examination for the session 2015-16.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was
Mr. Atheeq Anwar, Chief Administrative
officer KKECT. Mrs. .Shazia Maqsood also
graced the occasion. The Badges and House
flags were ceremoniously handed over to the
new Student Council heads by the reverent
guests, the school Principal, Vice Principal
and Headmistress. The student council took
a solemn oath to be true to the posts and
duties assigned to them. They promised to
render their selfless service and to lead by
example, courage and integrity. Prajwal
Ranjan was elected as the School Head Boy The Chief Guest addressing the audience
and Aditi Ramakrishna as the School Head
Girl. The Prefectorial body of the junior
wing and Shiksha Kendra were also
felicitated.
The chief guest Mr. Atheeq Anwar addressed
the students and remarked that their desire to
serve the student community is indeed laudable.
He emphasized on the importance of inculcating
good leadership traits like honesty, courage,
perseverance, humility and above all the
willingness to serve the society. He encouraged
the young leaders to sharpen and hone their
skills so that they could set up high standards.
He urged them to explore all hidden
opportunities and to master the skills of Head Boy and Head Girl taking
management. the school flag.
