Next in stop was Hawa Mahal very
popularly known as the “palace of
winds”, a stunning example of Rajput
artistry with its beautiful pink sandstone
windows. Jantar Mantar is a beautiful
observatory created by Raja Jai Singh
and is the largest and the best of the five
he constructed in the country. Students
were explained the functioning of each
and every device and were told about its
accuracy too.

After a good two hours of shopping students set
off for their long 14 hour travel to Jaisalmer. At
Jaisalmer students were set open to such an
environment that was knitted into the deepest
culture of Rajasthan, At Choki Dhani students
experienced the traditional Rajasthani lifestyle,
their food, their culture, their entertainment,
puppet shows, magic shows, and traditional
dances and not to forget the camel ride!
