What your school means to you
My school is a temple of learning for me. I study in Delhi Public School Bangalore North,
which is a part of an esteemed chain of schools in India. DPS has spread its wings to all over
the country and even many foreign countries, where Indian students can attain good
education and development.
I have immense respect for my school, starting from Kindergarten till date; I have spent a lot
of time in my school. My school is like a second home for me. I have gained a lot of knowledge
and moral values from my school. My school has a big playground, a mini golf course where
we play lots of sports including cricket, football, and tennis etc. My school has given me my
best friends.
I share a lot of memories with my friends and enjoy together. My school conducts events
which I love a lot like Sports Day, Annual Day and the best among all is the ‘HABBA’. My
school has given me the best moments of my life and enjoyment that has developed positive
team spirit in me.
My school has valued teachers who are humble and friendly with the students. My teachers
take a lot of effort in making us a better person every day. I thank my teachers, who guide
me throughout my journey; they are my philosophers and second parents.
My school has a lot of space and greenery around, which gives me a refreshing feeling as I
enter. My favorite place is the P.T ground where I play cricket, football etc. The organic field
has many varieties of fruits and vegetables that are nurtured and reaped by us.
My principal is very kind and friendly. She ensures that every corner of the school campus is
well maintained and safe for us. I would like to thank the management of the school,
principal, teachers, ayahs, drivers and the staff who enable us to have an enjoyable and
enriching life in the school. A school is always a second home for every student. At Delhi
Public School, Bangalore -North, I feel it is my real home.

One night at school
Imagine it’s the last period and you ask your teacher if
you could use the washroom, when you come out, you
see nobody there, you rush to the exit of the building,
but the gates are locked ! Now you have to stay over-
night in the building. You go to your class and you
sleep on the benches. In the middle of the night you feel
thirsty and you want to drink water , but your bag is
missing ! Suddenly you hear a teacher singing a b c d e
f g h i j k…………you go and look out of the window you
see kindergarten children singing twinkle twinkle little
star…… now you totally get scared and scared and
scream hahahahah, you are on your bed and dreaming!!
