Humans can forgive sins: "And when He Allah alone can forgive sins: "And those
had said this, He breathed on them, who, when they commit an immorality
and said to them, 'Receive the Holy or wrong themselves [by
Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, transgression], remember Allah and
they are forgiven them; if you retain seek forgiveness for their sins – and
the sins of any, they are who can forgive sins except Allah? –
retained.'" (John 20/22-23) and [who] do not persist in what they
have done while they know." (3/135)
Supplications are raised to Him directly
without any mediators or intercessors
whatsoever: "And when My servants ask
you [O Muhammad] concerning Me –
indeed I am near. I respond to the
invocation of the supplicant when he
calls upon Me." (2/186)
