St Martin-in-the-Fields Choir Visit 2018

legendary Mr. Linda Mngoma and the Ionian Strings Ensemble.

Durham, United Kingdom, was placed on a "Block Placement" - a
4week programme in a parish to gain new experience and develop
self-understanding, see different perspectives on ministry, reflect
and evaluate in this context, and develop practical and pastoral
skills for parish and circuit ministry.
Georgina got placed in South Africa from the 3rd of September
2018 to 30th September 2018. She visited the Cathedral of St
Mary's and attended her first Eucharist Service with the Cathedral
staff, then went on a Cathedral tour and ended her 1st day with a
filling lunch with the Dean and the Cathedral staff. GEORGINA ELSEY
Georgina was a guest to both the Malisa and Dlwathi families, who Ordinand - St Martin’s Church, London.
tirelessly gave her a great hospitality during her stay. She visited
many historical sites like the Johannesburg City & Constitutional
Hill, Apartheid Museum & had a Soweto tour where she had her
very first Kota experience and had super at the Vilakazi Restaurant.
She also led the morning Eucharist Service in the Cathedral and
later joined the Cathedral family for fellowship at the Cathedral
Family Fun Day in Zoo Lake.
