Media
The West Virginia Poison Center sends press releases to all West Virginia media about topics
important to West Virginia citizens based on surveillance of poison center calls to identify
areas of current poisoning trends.
West Virginia media outlets were provided with 10 press releases throughout 2018.
Topics included:

Wild mushrooms and snakes
Summer break safety
Poison safety for college students
You never outgrow Mr. Yuk
Halloween safety
Thanksgiving safety
