Don’t throw away that stamp!

Stamp ministry alive and well at Sisters of the Cross

Trinity has for several years and is still collecting cancelled stamps for the Sisters of Holy
Cross (Notre Dame, IN) stamp program ministry. In this stamp ministry, several dealers,
groups, and individuals buy the donated stamps. To help with the stamp ministry, cut the
stamp from the envelope leaving at least ¼” on each side of the stamp. Stamps that are too
heavily canceled, torn, or whose perforations are not intact cannot be used.

          The most valuable stamps are:

                 Un-canceled or fine/very fine condition

                 Foreign stamps, U.S. commemorative stamps

Stamps with postage values of $1 or more

                 Printing errors mistakes
                 Albums

You may give your canceled stamps to Louise and they will be sent to the Sisters of Holy

Cross in January to take advantage of all your Christmas cards you will be receiving.

The stamps have already been purchased so there is NO COST to you to save, cut out, and
          bring in these stamps.
