GETTING TO KNOW YOU
Getting To Know Our Young Adults
Robert (Robby) Preston feels at home at Trinity Lutheran. Being raised here at
Trinity, baptized and confirmed, he stated "the church is a part of me." When asked
what his faith means to him, he replied, "Things are possible with God in my life." He
credits his mom, Debbie, as a role model in his faith development. During challenging
times, his mom would tell him to "put it in God's hands." His mom saw faith in him
when he was younger. It's disappointing to Robby that many from his generation are
not a part of a church even though they believe in God.
After Robby graduated from Dakota High
School, he received an associates degree in
Manufacturing Engineering Technologies. He
recently moved to the Madison area and took a
position as a fuel technician with Kwik Trip
Store Engineering. He maintains compressed
natural gas compressors and makes repairs to
and maintains liquid fuel dispensers.
Robby is an active member at Trinity. He
serves on the church council and you will see
him singing in the choir. He is also serving as a
confirmand mentor. In his spare time he enjoys
working on his car and playing video games.
We love seeing your smiling face Robby and appreciate your work here at Trinity!
