is coming to
Trinity Lutheran Church
Are you hungry for brats, some German food and beer? Come to Oktoberfest at Trinity
Lutheran Church on Saturday, September 29 from 4pm-7pm. Entrance will be at the
th
lower level door in the back of the church.
Join us now. You don’t need to wait 20 years. Anyone wanting to open a food tent has
to wait 20 years to have one at Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany.
There will be a brat meal served with German potato salad, sauerkraut, baked beans,
applesauce, soda and dessert. This brat meal is $10.00. There will also be a hot dog
meal for kids that includes chips, cookie, and juice or water. The kid’s meal is served
on a Frisbee which is your child’s to keep and will cost $5.00. Children 3 and under
are free. Carry-out meals will be available. We are planning on serving beer for an ad-
ditional price. A beer is not included in the cost of a brat meal.
There will be a band at this year’s Oktoberfest. The Connection plays a unique blend
of musical styles including standards, popular, bluegrass and gospel songs. Bass, ten-
or, and banjo ukuleles along with a tuba, guitar and harmonica provide the background
for three part vocals. Bring a lawn chair and stay to enjoy the music.
This event will take place rain or shine.
Come to Oktoberfest for some yummy food, beer, music and fun!
Watch for volunteer sign-up sheets to be posted in September.
