GETTING TO KNOW YOU
We would like to introduce you to Don and Jackie Vandercreek, two newer mem-
bers of Trinity. They came to Durand from Morrison, IL where Jackie was a
middle school teacher and Don was a civil engineer for Morrison Institute of
Technology. In Morrison they attended a Presbyterian Church. They now live
on Main Street in Durand. Their home was a former Lutheran parsonage.
They have a daughter, one granddaughter and two great grandchildren. Don
and Jackie babysit for the great grandchildren while their mother teaches.
Don’s hobbies are reading and fishing. In the summer they spend time at a
cabin resort in Bemiji, Minnesota. They enjoy attending a drive-in Lutheran
Church. They listen to the service from their car on the radio. The pastor
delivers the sermon on a stage.
They get out of their car to go
up to communion. Ushers go from
car to car for offering.

to Trinity!
