As one way of reconnecting with God’s story, I’d like to invite you to join me in a time
of “sermon prep” as we discover together what the text that will be preached the fol-
lowing Sunday is saying to us. I will offer two times on Mondays to meet various
schedules…one at 11 am on Mondays and the second at 6 pm or earlier. (no gather-

ing on the second Monday of the month due to Night Owls) The sermon preps will
begin as soon as two people express an interest in getting together. Times can be ad-
justed, and we can even discuss over pizza if interested. Let me know!

Regarding Bishop Clements’ question, I saw the Holy Spirit at work last Saturday dur-

ing Trunk or Treat. Parents of two different families asked their young children what
Bible story Trinity’s display represented. One young boy proudly answered Noah’s
Ark. Yes, we were engaging in God’s story while having fun! The “treat” bags of fris-
bees, rulers, and stickers included a card with ‘save the date for VBS’ on one side

and worship times and ministries on the other. Evangelism can be fun!

God has richly blessed Trinity with 175 years of being the church. With grateful hearts
and openness of minds to new ideas, the power of the Holy Spirit will guide us in our
journey ahead and will provide us with more answers to Bishop Clements questions.

God’s blessings to each of you and we journey forward together.
