Ash Wednesday is March 6
Lenten mid-week worship services will be Wednesdays, March 13 thru April 10.
Lenten Suppers are served downstairs at 6 pm.
Worship Services are in Sanctuary at 7 pm

There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board for those who would like to provide a meal.
You may serve what you want—soups, sloppy joes, casseroles, salads, desserts, etc.
There is coffee and lemonade in kitchen that you may serve
The chefs will decide if the free-will offering at each meal will be used to
reimburse their expenses or donated where they would like it to go.
Donuts for the General Fund
We sold donuts to finish raising money for the organ fund. We are going to continue to sell donuts and
put the proceeds into the general fund. Thanks to Lucy Duerst and Heidi Swanson for agreeing to make
the dough for the sales. We are asking the congregation’s help with these sales – besides placing an
order for donuts to eat or give away. People are needed to help fry the donuts and bag them. Sign-up
sheets are on the bulletin board. All you need to do is donate one hour of your time. Some of the jobs
can be done sitting down. We also would appreciate people donating ingredients to make the donuts –
flour, sugar, butter, etc. See the list on the bulletin board. Flour, sugar and ziplock bags can be brought
in any time and put in the basement kitchen. Please label them for donuts. Closer to the time the dough
is made is the best time to donate butter, eggs and butter-
milk. Check the bulletin board for more details on what and
how much we need for each sale and when to bring it in.
Of course the amount will change depending on how many
donuts are ordered. If you have any questions, please ask
Mary Nuss. Sales this year will be March 16, May 18, July
20, September 21, and November 16. In December we will
have our cookie/candy walk – so think ahead about what
you might make. Proceeds from this sale will also go to the
general fund or mortgage fund.
